Description
The course will introduce you to the how of reading, writing, thinking and speaking, as well as
give you an opportunity to apply what you learn to a particular topic.
The topic will be Science Fiction. We will examine critical writings about a selection of books and films which address this theme. Weekly readings will be provided and you will also be expected to do your own outside reading. The 3 hour class will begin with a one hour lecture focusing on the week’s topic followed by a two hour skills based seminar. This course will focus on:
