Description

Studies properties of and fundamental methods for the solution of partial differential equations (PDEs); classification of first and second order PDEs; Dirichlet and Neumann problems including the Wave, Heat and Laplace Equations; Method of Characteristics; Fourier and Laplace Transforms, Green's Functions and Conformal Maps; selected applications from Finance, Physics, Engineering and the biosciences.
