Description

The interstellar Medium; Radiative Transfer; local thermodynamic equilibrium, ionization and recombination; emission lines; dynamics; shock waves; HII regions; supernova remnants. The expanding universe; newtonian cosmology; the cosmological parameters; problems with the standard Big Bang; inflation, cosmic microwave background radiation.
