Description

This course examines the history and theories of cross-disciplinary tendencies in modern art. The focus will be on international and Australian art from the 1960s to the present that interfaces with other fields and practices, including design, architecture, language, mass media, politics, science, ethnography, and community. The course interrogates the historical and theoretical implications of modern art's dialogue with other disciplines and competencies.
