Description

This studio-based course provides the student with an understanding of complex 3D CGI character creation methodologies including: character design, CGI modelling, UV and texture creation, and hierarchical control systems.

Projects will explore holistic character design (aesthetic and mechanical) and provide students with the skills to design, create and control complex 3D CGI character systems in order to develop a fully animated CGI puppet. This course is essential for any student aiming to develop character creation skills.
