Description

This course provides an introduction to the fundamental principles of human structure. It includes an introduction to the histology of basic tissues and an overview of the anatomy of the major body systems. There is a strong emphasis on the correlation of structure with function throughout the whole course. This course is designed for students who do not plan to major in Anatomy. Students who achieve a credit level pass or better can use this course as a prerequisite for ANAT3121 Visceral Anatomy, ANAT3131 Functional Anatomy of the Head, Neck and Back, ANAT3141 Functional Anatomy of the Limbs and ANAT3411 Neuroanatomy.

You may not enrol in this course if you have already completed ANAT2241.
