Description

Through the study of selected important buildings and their spatial configuration, material and structural expression and logic, this studio emphasizes how architectural space is configured and refined for use. Site conditions and material limits are introduced to the design process. The architectural relations between interior and exterior are established according to use and room types, and projects develop within the constraints and possibilities of construction techniques and site conditions. The design will be aided through basic digital fabrication.

Pre-requisites: ARCH1101
