Description



This is a hybrid course. It is available to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. The course content, delivery and assessment will be identical for both groups of students.


Subject Area: Education

This course, which extends and develops the work of Dance Method 1, deals with the application of the experiences gained in schools towards the profession of teaching dance.

Students who complete this course successfully should be able to:
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the implementation of ICT content in dance teaching programs
  • Demonstrate skill in developing ICT-based teaching and learning activities and assessments
  • Demonstrate an awareness of the standards of professional practice in secondary education
  • Demonstrate knowledge, understanding and skill in effective pedagogy relative to dance education Years 7-12.
