Description

This course will introduce the creative concepts and practical skills associated with contemporary printmaking practice. Students will investigate, using a combination of experimental and traditional approaches, the materials and methodologies of two printmaking techniques – matrix strategies via relief printing and screen methods via serigraphy.

By providing opportunities to imaginatively interpret the creative possibilities of the print, students will gain an insight into the expectations and versatility of printmaking as an artistic practice.
