Description

DIPP1510 Work Placement is a course for students who have secured an industry relevant work experience / placement opportunity and would like to receive academic credit for the experience.

It is self-paced and delivered entirely online to offer students as much flexibility as possible to suit their individual needs and placement schedule. This course enables students to gain practical and supervised experience within their chosen industry. It also offers a framework in which students actively develop their employability skills, create a professional e-portfolio, reflect on their placement experience and relate it to their career goals.

DIPP1510 is offered as a General Education course to all undergraduate students at UNSW. The work placement must consist of a minimum of 140 hours. Permission to enrol will only be granted if the placement contributes to the learning and development of the student's employability skills. Extra conditions will apply for students wishing to undertake a work placement overseas.

Students should complete the Student Enrolment Enquiry Form to express your interest in enrolling in the course.
