Description

This course is run jointly with Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Wuhan, China, and Petra Christian University, Surabaya, Indonesia. Students will visit China or Indonesia in a 10-14 days study tour during the teaching recess either in February or September. Students will visit construction sites, construction related government agencies, design institutes, and historical buildings. They will also gain knowledge on construction technologies, key management strategies and leadership styles in the Chinese and Indonesian construction industries, as well as gain insights into the project procurement process in the international market and the impacts of culture on project management process.
