Description

In this studio students apply knowledge and skills acquired in previous studios and courses to the challenging programmatic requirements of large scale urban landscape systems. Programmatic challenges include concerns for people and place, urban and constructed ecologies, and landscape performance. Projects may include preparing competition entries and/or be interdisciplinary in nature. Design development, communications and presentation skills are extended to a professional level, and incorporate a range of tools and media. Students demonstrate advanced design skill and ability by developing and resolving design ideas across a range of scales.

A personal design portfolio forms part of this studio, and a satisfactory portfolio is a requirement for completion of this studio.
