Description

This course provides an introduction to the principles of marine engineering and propulsion to enable students studying the Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) and Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) to complete a marine specialisation which aligns to Marine Engineer Officer competencies. Key topics include ship propulsion and auxiliary ship systems and equipment. This course will be delivered through a combination of lectures, tutorials and design studio activities.
