Description

This course will give the student an understanding of the origins, and course of the greatest global conflict in history through the analysis of the military, social, political, economic, ideological and moral issues that shaped it. Beginning with the failure of the post-World War I peace settlement, students will study the causes of the war, the strategic decisions, the major air, sea and land campaigns and the key points of the global struggle up to the end of 1941.
