Stream Outline

Neurobiology introduces students to the biological aspects of the nervous system, and is based around the neuroscience courses offered by the departments of Anatomy, Physiology and Pharmacology. A Neurobiology major is only available to students enrolled in the 3991 Bachelor of Medical Science program.

Stream Structure

A major in Neurobiology is comprised of 72 units of credit of courses as follows:

Notes:
1. Students may substitute BABS2204 Genetics or BABS2202 Molecular Cell Biology 1 for BIOS1101. Refer to 3991 Bachelor of Medical Science program rules for more information;
2. Higher level mathematics may be substituted for MATH1041. Refer to 3991 Bachelor of Medical Science program rules for more information.
