Diploma of Prof. Practice - 7018 | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Diploma of Professional Practice (click here to visit the DPP website) aims to provide students with opportunities to further enhance their capabilities, skills and knowledge to pursue professional careers nationally and internationally.
Feedback from employers shows that while they value academic achievements, they also seek graduates who have the necessary skills to be effective in the workplace, are globally aware, and have the potential to be future leaders. Students will develop the employability skills sought by graduate employers through formal work placement opportunities and courses aimed at developing global citizenship and leadership. During the placements students will reflect upon themselves as professional practitioners and develop their skills in global citizenship and effective leadership and teamwork. On completion of the Diploma students will have developed a deeper understanding of, and capability for, leadership, and professional practice in the workplace and the international community. They will have increased their competitiveness in the graduate recruitment process and their ongoing career management skills.
