 Business Law

Description

Business Law combines the study of commerce with an examination of the laws which govern its operation.

As an area of study, Business Law is designed for students who are interested in commercial rather than legal practice. The program involves courses which provide a general education in the legal environment and regulation of commerce, 'professional' courses which are recognised by the CPA Australia and the Institute of Chartered Accountants, and specialist courses relating to Business Law and Taxation.

Studying Business Law at UNSW

The study of Business Law at UNSW is primarily through the School of Business Law and Taxation (www.blt.unsw.edu.au). At an undergraduate level, the School offers co-majors in Business Law and in Taxation within the Bachelor of Commerce and related combined degree programs. Postgraduate study is also available.
