Appropriate evidence-based myopia management is increasingly becoming a part of clinical practice. This course will provide the research background and evidence for various optical, pharmacological and behavioural myopia management options. The course will enhance optometrists’ skills, knowledge and management practice of progressive myopia, particularly in the paediatric population.
This is the second core course for the Graduate Certificate in Myopia Management program. Completion of OPTM 7611 is is pre-requisite for enrolment. Other courses that are a part of the Graduate Certificate in Myopia Management program include OPTM7621 and OPTM7205.
