The purpose of this course isto introduce you to two key aspects of project management. First to, identify and explain key issues in project management, in reference to an educational research project, and second to identify ethical matters and dilemmas that you encounter in conducting research. The course will cover aspects of project planning including feasibility concerns around access, participants and time, along with examining sources of tension in the ethical debate, ethical problems and issues confronting the researcher and the national framework and guidelines for research integrity. The course will enable you to plan a research project and identify ethical risks and apply ethical principles to a research project, and to your own professional conduct.
