Description

This course provides an opportunity for Level 2 students to apply their knowledge of the historical, political, and social context of Australian education and the cognitive and societal factors that shape students' experiences and outcomes to develop, implement, and evaluate an appropriate action plan to improve student learning through engaging with the wider educational community, including parents, caregivers, and other education-related professionals. This course consists of university-based orientation classes, online forums, and the equivalent of 20 days structured field work in a specific school community, with a focus on understanding the needs of a diverse range of students and how they learn.
