This course is intended for students who require a knowledge of anatomy but do not intend to pursue further anatomical study. The course will give you an understanding of the structural organization of the human body at a topographical (macroscopic) and histological (microscopic) level, i.e. the position, form and structure and function. You will gain familiarity with anatomical and medical terminology and their meanings, and acquire an increased understanding of the human body and capacity to make informed decisions regarding health.
