Overview

This course provides professional level instruction in Chinese language and culture studies. By studying a wide range of texts that showcase the use and evolution of vernacular Chinese, you will continue to improve your integrated language skills, especially proficiency in reading and writing, as well as develop a sense of the history of Chinese language. The medium of instruction is Chinese. The course caters for students entering the Chinese program at the professional level and also serves as an optional course for those who have completed Advanced Chinese B (ARTS3451).
