Overview

This course provides advanced level instruction in Spanish language study from a communicative and task-based approach. You will develop your listening and speaking skills through a number of different activities, as well as your reading and writing skills in Spanish. Vocabulary and grammatical structures are presented in the context of culturally relevant issues. Audio-visual web based material is used as an introduction to vocabulary, grammar structures and culturally relevant topics. Topics may include intercultural communication, current events and issues in the Spanish-speaking world. The medium of instruction is Spanish.
