Overview

Big Data and Artificial Intelligence have changed business forever.  Business leaders and managers – not just technical specialists – need to understand the opportunities and risks for business in collecting, analysing, sharing and using data, including what is legally permissible and what is ethically appropriate.  Getting this wrong can harm individuals and societies and cause significant financial and reputational damage to the businesses involved.  This course equips students to identify and engage thoughtfully with the fundamental questions of data governance – what may we do, and what should we do, with data analytics?
