This course provides you with opportunities to further develop and explore your sound practice by constructing screen-based audiovisual works that focus on sound as a storytelling component. You will examine various ways that sound can shape experiences of both traditional and experimental audiovisual forms, and you will experiment with sound to create new narrative connections between sound and image. The studio focus of the course will help you develop intermediate audiovisual skills through which you can expand on traditional and experimental techniques across a range of platforms for audiovisual media.
