Fine Arts Honours Research Project 2 is a 12 UOC core course in the Fine Arts Honours program. Taken across two terms for a total of 24 UOC, the course is designed to support you in developing and completing your Honours research project. In this course, you will continue to build on your practice-led research project as established in DART4101. Formative tasks in T2 are designed to support you to resolve your research outcomes through a body of creative work and a thesis that are submitted in T3.
This course is taught in a studio context, emphasising contemporary studio practice as a key mode of investigation and discovery. The studio also operates as a collegiate and peer-oriented environment, fostering a supportive and rigorous culture of creative practice, critical discussion, and exchange.
