The focus of this course is on developing an understanding of the electromagnetic properties of electronic circuits and electromagnetic devices from an electrical engineering perspective. This course builds upon previous courses in electromagnetics and circuit theory, focussing on the design and utilisation of electromagnetic devices in practical situations. This course will cover transmission lines, revisit Maxwell's equations, develop free-space propagation concepts, and apply those concepts to waveguides and antennas.
