Description

This course must be taken by non-law graduate students in the first semester of the Master of Criminal Justice & Criminology and of the Graduate Diploma in Criminal Justice and Criminology.

This course is also available as one of the compulsory courses in the Master of Legal Studies and the Graduate Diploma of Legal Studies.

Module 1: Research & Writing in a Legal Environment provides training in legal research and legal writing skills

Module 2: Australian Legal System & Process looks at the structure of and principles governing common law legal systems and at the role of constitutions

Module 3: Criminal Justice in Context introduces students to inter-disciplinary research concerning crime, the operation of criminal law and criminal justice
