Program Description

Invalid for students commencing 2013.

The Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) cannot be taken as a stand-alone program, other than where it is used as an exit program, for students who wish to take out the BFA award at pass level without proceeding to Honours or where a student's academic performance in 4814 Bachelor of Fine Arts (Advanced) precludes them from entry to the 4th stage of the program. The Bachelor of Fine Arts can be taken in Concurrent Mode as part of an approved Dual Award combination.

Honours

Students undertaking the program in Dual Award mode may apply to complete an additional year (48UOC) of study, by transferring to Program 4814 Bachelor of Fine Arts (Advanced). For details of Honours please see 4814 Bachelor of Fine Arts (Advanced).

Academic Rules

Students who wish to graduate from the Bachelor of Fine Arts, after enrolling in 4814 Bachelor of Fine Arts (Advanced) must have completed 108 UOC in Fine Arts core courses, 24 UOC in Electives & 12 UOC in General Education.
